Recipes
We have spent a lot of time talking, writing, texting, and IMing about food. We think it's because we were both born in New Orleans, and though raised in Alabama, there's just something about food and The Big Easy that hangs with you forever.
We have prepared all of the dishes that are posted to this Web site - in fact, we have culled them down to our very favorites - some old, some new. We grill out every weekend, something we can do because we live in the Coastal South, and will be posting our new favs every week.
We hope you enjoy our tips and tricks, and visit our site often. Now that spring has arrived, and the warm weather calls us outside (here on the Gulf Coast, anyway), we hope we can encourage you, no matter where you live, to pull the snow cover off that grill and get cookin'!
We'd love to hear from you, so send us your favorite grilling recipes, and you might see them posted soon on GirlsonaGrill!
Posted This Week to Girls on a Grill
Grilled Sesame Asparagus - Two Ways
Grilled Greek-style Chicken and Pitas
We have added a new section under "Vegetables" for Salads and Dressings.
We have posted many of our family favorites, and want to especially recommend to you our VERY retro version of that 1950's fav, Green Goddess Dressing.
Groovy, man!
Recipe Index
We have gathered our favorite recipes under general headings, but there are special recipes scattered all over this Web site. If you find an intriguing rub recipe, you'll also find a recipe on that page for a great chicken or pork dish. So we have gathered an index of all the recipes on this site to help you navigate. Hope you enjoy!
